COVID-19 UPDATE - Temporarily close - Updated 14th April

Emergency Dental Care Update
The Bristol Urgent Care Dental Hubs are now in operation. They have been established to receive the most urgent of dental emergencies during the Covid-19 crisis.
If you are a registered patient at The Dental Touch, we are still your first point of contact during this pandemic. We are available regarding any dental problems, concerns or queries you may have.
If you have a urgent dental problem then please either:-
1. Telephone the practice on 0117 924 4440 during operating hours.
2. You may also email the practice for non-urgent issues that may arise at: info@dental-touch.co.uk
You will be triaged by a dentist and your problem will be categorised by your definition of emergency dental need.
3. If you are an unregistered patient requiring emergency assistance, please call NHS 111 and you will be re-directed to the hubs after you have been triaged by them.
Definition of need:-

P1 – Patient requires immediate treatment on the day, therefore directed to an Urgent Dental Care Hub and or Hospital unit depending on severity.

P2 – Patient requires treatment within 24-hours and can be directed to an Urgent Dental Care Hub for management.

P3 – Patient has a dental emergency that can be managed with advice/analgesics/antibiotics and does not require treatment on the day/24-hrs and can be managed by a planned appointment at a later date.

Following triage and your definition of need, if required, you will be referred by us to an Urgent Dental Care Hub.

The Hub will acknowledge receipt of your referral and make contact with you to confirm your assessment and book an appointment if required.
